We were all having lunch in the office canteen(in India), when one lady colleague asked me, ’Do you booze?’
She presumed that the reply would be yes, knowing that I had seen the glimpse of western world who are known as by the tag, US-returned. I replied, ’ No’. They were astonished and replied,’I do booze’.
Drinking, smoking and wearing short clothes have become fashion. Imitating others is good, provided you are imbibing goodness of others. If by having vices, do we term ourselves westernized and modern?
There is so much in Americans, which we need to imbibe and accept.
•The trust they have on each other is just great. In an exam hall, even in absence of professor nobody will copy, yeah..thats America.
•Responsibility towards the society is high, they ensure that surroundings is clean. You will never see them spitting or throwing papers/waste in the roads.
•System oriented-I would term that systems are biggest strength of Americans. More than the people and the leader.
•Never indulge in others private matters. You will never see them intruding into your personal life.
If we imbibe all this, the world would be better place to live

There is a small percent that copies, here also, but cheating on exams is much lower here. Another thing is their work culture, they are 100% sincere with thier work, finishing it in time. Mostly work becomes their life in a university setting (flip side is that they don't have time for family)
I personally think good and bad is all a personal opinion..
Right..may be the labels created by us.
