Welcoming the little angel

I had been to baby shower on 2nd February,2014. It was so amazing to see the arrangements. The decoration so meticulously done by Sarita. She had taken care to ensure everything was neat and tidy. Her exuberance and attention to details is so marvelous , just like her large glowing eyes. The host-Girija Aunty was ever cheerful, who could get on well with everyone on earth ,with mastery of so many languages and her poise. The house was large, neat and well maintained.

I love to see different traditions, as per tamil tradition the baby shower is like second marriage. The pregnant lady -Pamela was like the epitome of divinity, with the rose garland, pink saree, kumkum and so many colourful bangles. Five ladies had put kumkum on her forehead and given bangles to her. They did 'Aarti' with 'Seetha Kalyanam...' song.The games were arranged too by Meena Aunty and Usha. The gifts given to the couple comprised of everything needed for the little angel. Usha had taken care to include most of it from tub, bodysuit,bib, lotion.....etc. Not to forget the home made cake which had tiny pink shoes like those of Cinderalla. The cake was really yummy!!!!

Ended with the sumptuous dinner and sweets. Gettogethers with good food is like bonus, especially when you are sick of eating your own food and also when you are tired to cook. It is so nice to see unconditional love, love by the people around which reassures us that 'Divine will take care' , reassuring and welcoming the new life on this earth -Advika (This is not the name of the baby, I named her now...hehheehe...) Nothing can replace unconditional love, Its a blessing which comes only through grace and faith.

If a pregnant woman desires something, the nature will take care. It is the time when angels surround her everytime and keep saying, 'asthu...asthu'...(let the wish be granted!) It is also the reason, people attend the baby shower to bless her for the new journey of motherhood and also to take blessing.
